Winter League Convention 2023
The first “Winter League Convention Hosted by Antalyaspor 2022” took place from January 18–21, 2022, at the Calista Luxury Resort in Antalya–Belek. In terms of both organization and content, this special event was designed to promote football tourism in turkey with Antalya as the inaugural base for the unique football events.
The WL Convention last year attracted 45 speakers under three main forum categories and was supported by some significant high profile companies in the exhibitor arena.
With the caliber of speakers it featured and the number of attendees it attracted each day, some of the speakers, invited guests and supported companies attested that the WL Convention was seen as a huge success. Furthermore, the Winter League and the WL Convention garnered a combined 230,000 YouTube views, 18,750,000 Web News visits, and 580,000 engagements with print media in its inaugural year.
Following this event’s success, preparations are well under way for the WL Convention 2023, which will take place from January 9th to January 12th at the Nirvana Cosmopolitan in Antalya.
The structure of the upcoming WL convention 2023 will follow the same rules, and eminent speakers from around the globe will attend to share their expertise and game-related experiences. This covers a wide range of subjects, from current sports media trends, transfers to scouting techniques, athlete health and club-athlete relationship.
In addition, WL Convention 2023 will provide attendees with networking opportunities with peers as well as an avenue for participants to easily engage with each other through forums, exhibition and education. This is something many of the clubs who regularly visit Antalya for training and fitness camps had never experienced here before.
This year’s WL Convention is endorsed and supported by the Government of Turkey and aims to establish itself as the major destination for everything related to football.
